The Show
If comedy is the essence of Sherman’s Showcase, music is the personality. Written by the inimitable comedy duo of Diallo Riddle and Bashir Salahuddin, Sherman’s is an eight-part parody of a fictional music and variety special like Soul Train and American Bandstand.
We needed tracks that wouldn’t distract you from the comedy, while still making you say “wait a minute, this track is fire.” …and that’s exactly what they delivered.”

The Ask
To produce iconic pieces of music for the show that would sound convincing from each era, while still being able to highlight ironic comedy vocals.
Among our favorites is this hilarious twist on a traditional rap battle…
Diallo asked us: what would happen if a bunch of rabid Futbol fans rioted in the streets of Venice Beach? Here's what we came up with:

News Flash
Sherman’s Showcase is back. This time with their own celebration of Black History Month…in June. We were stoked to have the opportunity to produce a disco track featuring the iconic horn duo The Potash Twins. You can hear it in the trailer and see it in a crazy choreographed dance sequence if you tune in for the premiere June 17.
